Improving water quality
Urban pollutant runoff has been identified as a leading contributor to the degradation of urban water resources and increased chronic flooding—causing billions of dollars in damage in the US every year.
Communities must address the needs of aging water infrastructure, unfortunately jurisdictions across the country have inadequate funding and deferred maintenance backlogs on critical and enormously expensive stormwater systems.
Comprehensive turn-key solution
In order to address this growing issue for communities across the U.S., Corvias has developed a comprehensive Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Maintain (DBFOM) strategy to achieve and maintain compliance with the Clean Water Act (CWA) National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit requirements.
Dramatic cost reduction
Corvias has been successful over the past 18 years in creating approximately 30-40% cost savings versus the traditional government approach to addressing stormwater needs. In addition to those savings, Corvias' municipal partnerships will generate over $350 million in wages and an additional $19 million in state and local tax revenues for the local communities we serve.
