General Counsel

As General Counsel, Bill works closely with company leadership on legal, strategic, and transactional matters that support the company’s mission to provide innovative Solutions Through Partnerships® that improve the readiness and resiliency of military installations, including military housing communities. Bill has played a leading role in advancing more than 25 public-private partnerships with the U.S. military, higher education institutions, and municipal governments, including leading and collaborating across all legal aspects of more than $5.5 billion in transactions, including project finance, corporate finance, and private equity investments. Bill also provides counsel on a broad range of corporate and operational matters, helping teams navigate complex challenges across the company and its businesses. 

With more than 30 years of experience, including over 25 years with Corvias, Bill previously held senior legal and corporate leadership roles with Picerne Real Estate Group, GFI Partners, Heritage Property Investment Trust, and Mark Centers Trust. 

Bill earned his Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law and bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island. He has also been recognized as an “In-House Leader in the Law” by Lawyers Weekly and New England In-House.
