Corvias Group Executive Named One of Providence Business News’ 40 Under Forty Winners

Senior Vice President of Finance David Rozen was selected from more than 100 applicants for the 2012 Class of 40 Under Forty 

East Greenwich, RI (August  7, 2012) – Corvias Group, a privately-owned, vertically-integrated real estate solutions group, today announced that Senior Vice President of Finance, David Rozen, was selected as a winner for the 2012 Providence Business News “40 Under Forty” award. 

The “40 Under Forty” winners were chosen based on career success and community involvement. All honorees are young professionals who have made a commitment to making a difference on a local, national or international scale. Rozen was one of 40 professionals selected from an applicant pool of more than 100. An event to honor the winners was held on July 26 at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI.

Rozen’s career accomplishments have led him to be a vital member of the Corvias executive team.  As Senior Vice President of Finance, Rozen is responsible for overseeing all financial matters relating to the company and its divisions; Picerne Military Housing and Corvias Campus Living. Since joining the team in 2004, Rozen has been in charge of overseeing the finances of Picerne Military Housing’s portfolio of nearly 21,000 units. Throughout his career in institutional housing, he has procured and acquired nearly 17,000 units, raised more than $1 billion in private placement and municipal funding, and been involved in multiple restructurings and workouts.

David is also actively involved in a number of charitable organizations inspired by his daughter Lucy. His family supports Lend a Hand Therapeutic Riding Foundation, which provides hippotherapy and therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults with physical, mental, social and emotional disabilities. He is also heavily involved in the Matty Fund, a non-profit organization providing resources for children and families living with epilepsy, and is currently co-organizing a golf charity event, Links for Lucy, to be held this summer. David is also involved with Wide Horizon for Children, a child welfare and adoption agency. 

Rozen currently resides in Cranston, RI. He holds both a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Boston University with a concentration in Finance.
