In addition to being Corvias’ military partnership executive, Al Aycock serves as board member, and volunteer in numerous non-profit and civic organizations, including Army Emergency Relief, Comfort Crew for Military Kids, and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).

Major General (Retired) Al Aycock is a veteran, advocate, and volunteer within the military community. He served over 37 years with the United States Army, and in that time, held 28 different roles. He commanded one of the Army’s largest installations, with an immediate readiness mission for Airborne and Special Operations Forces, supporting 52,000 soldiers with $300 million in funding. In addition, Al successfully ran the Army’s $4 billion military construction program and $3 billion base realignment and closure program for over 4 years.

Always exemplifying humility, Al noted, “The true enjoyment was always the incredible people I was fortunate enough to work beside. My roles varied from 8 years on 3 tours in the daily hustle and long hours of the Pentagon to some of the most austere locations on earth. This included training at 50° below zero in Alaska and riding camel patrols with Tunisian Soldiers in the blazing heat of the Sahara Desert. What was always enjoyable, regardless of the other factors, was the teamwork and relationships that were forged in tough times and celebrated in good times. The people that I was honored to work with over those years in creating lifelong friendships will always be what I enjoyed most.”

With numerous Army-level team commendations under his belt, he continues to lead and volunteer. Al is a leader, board member, and volunteer in numerous non-profit and civic organizations, including Army Emergency Relief, Comfort Crew for Military Kids, and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).

His dedication to people in all his work is especially evident in his role as President of the Fort Liberty Chapter of AUSA. Under Al’s leadership, the chapter has grown to 42,000 members and thrived, and at the AUSA 2023 Annual Meeting was awarded the Largest Chapter Membership. In addition, the Fort Liberty Chapter was recognized for being a Top 3 chapter across AUSA for its NCO & Soldiers Program, which supports soldiers, their families and Army civilians, provides a voice for the Army, and honors those who have served.

We are humbled to have Al as a valued member of our team as he continues to serve and thrive in business and philanthropy, alike.
