Improvements at Home of Army Aviation are part of a long-term effort to boost modernization and readiness
Fort Novosel, Ala. (May 7, 2025) – Renovations to nearly 300 homes at Fort Novosel began April 24 as part of a $24 million investment by Corvias and the U.S. Army to support installation readiness goals at the Home of Army Aviation, the branch’s central location for training Army aviators, including helicopter pilots.
Corvias, a trusted infrastructure and resiliency partner to the U.S. military and higher education institutions, is driving new modernization and development work for junior noncommissioned and company grade officer housing.
The improvements include redesigned kitchens that enhance functionality and flow, modernized bathrooms, and upgraded flooring and lighting — all tailored to support the day-to-day needs of military families.
Jeff Williams, Corvias Senior Vice President for Asset Management, emphasized the upgrades are meant to improve quality of life, helping soldiers remain mission ready. “The improvements will help increase resident satisfaction and comfort while supporting the stability, security, and focus that living on-post brings to servicemembers and their families.”
This initiative at Fort Novosel is part of Corvias’ broader, long-term strategy to support the Department of Defense through innovative, future-ready solutions. By aligning closely with Army priorities, Corvias is helping ensure that military housing not only meets current demands but also continues to evolve to support long-term readiness and resilience.
